Domestic Reed Beds

Reed beds for domestic use will treat the waste water from your house to the level demanded by your consent to discharge. You will still need a septic tank or a package plant (See Links for suppliers) to hold and store solid waste, but the waste water will be cleaned by the reed bed before it is discharged to the environment.

We use our uniquely designed ‘Purus’ reed bed for domestic and small commercial installations. You will enjoy the benefit of a two year maintenance contract and process guarantee, included in the price, if we install the system. Purus can also be supplied as a DIY pack.

We can install a complete sewage system, including septic tanks and package plants for you. Our products are sustainable and the reeds will provide an attractive feature for your garden whilst treating your domestic waste water. The bed will also attract birds to your garden in winter because the stands of reeds provide good cover.
